Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and reusable datasets.
- Create interactive visualizations that communicate KPIs, trends, and operational performance.
- Build and optimize data models using DAX, Power Query, and Dataflows.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Manage security, scheduled refreshes, and Power BI workspace governance.
- Troubleshoot performance, refresh, and connectivity issues.
- Validate data accuracy and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Develop executive briefings, scorecards, and analytical reports.
- Provide user support and training on dashboards and self-service reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Monitor dashboard reliability and enforce quality assurance standards.
- Extract and integrate datasets from different sources to establish a unified data architecture, ensuring data consistency
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, * Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), Dataflows, and semantic modeling.
- Strong SQL and data integration skills.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and star schema design.
- Experience with Azure SQL, SharePoint, Dataverse, and APIs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Up to three (0-3) years exp in Dashboard or Power BI
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst certification preferred
- Experience in government or large enterprise environments
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance
