Senior Android Embedded Software Engineer

The successful candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, focusing on building innovative automotive experiences such as advanced vehicle controls and next-generation infotainment features. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment alongside software engineers, hardware teams, and external partners to enhance performance and user experience.

Senior Android Embedded Software Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing software
• Develop next-generation infotainment features and proof-of-concept applications
• Build and optimize embedded software solutions for Android-based automotive platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and integrate software with embedded hardware systems
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues on embedded target hardware using advanced debugging tools and techniques
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and promote best practices for maintainability, scalability, and code quality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, documentation, and testing activities
• Develop high-quality Human Machine Interface (HMI) software experiences for automotive platforms
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across software delivery and development processes

Do you have experience in Version control?, * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience developing Android applications using Kotlin
• Solid understanding of Android platform development
• Experience building UI/HMI applications for infotainment or mobile platforms
• Proficiency using Git and/or GitHub for version control
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, * Experience developing embedded software for automotive platforms, QNX, Automotive Linux, or Android-based embedded systems
• Experience with Java development
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience using Jira for project and workflow management
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude agents
