Job description

This role will be responsible for defining the overall platform architecture, establishing technical standards, and ensuring seamless integration across endpoint management, virtual desktop, identity, networking, and security technologies. Working closely with architecture, engineering, and delivery teams, you will provide technical leadership and governance throughout the programme lifecycle., * Lead the architecture and design of enterprise End User Computing platforms.

  • Produce and maintain high- and low-level solution designs.
  • Define technical standards, architecture principles, and deployment approaches.
  • Design solutions across virtual desktop, endpoint management, application delivery, identity, and security platforms.
  • Ensure platform designs align with wider enterprise architecture and operational requirements.
  • Review and approve technical designs produced by engineering and project teams.
  • Provide architectural governance and technical leadership throughout delivery.
  • Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Platform Architect or Senior EUC Architect within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong background designing and delivering enterprise virtual desktop or digital workplace platforms.
  • Experience with endpoint management, identity, access management, and device lifecycle solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application delivery and modern workplace technologies.
  • Experience acting as a technical design authority within structured delivery programmes.
  • Strong understanding of architecture governance, design assurance, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working across large, complex organisations with multiple delivery teams.
