Senior AWS Data Engineer

We re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, playing a key role in shaping how data drives decision-making across the business.

You ll be at the heart of building and managing trusted, high-quality data products, enabling analytics, AI, and operational teams to unlock real value. This is a great opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment where data governance, innovation, and impact go hand in hand.

What You ll Be Doing

• Designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations
• Creating reusable, governed data products for analytics and AI teams
• Translating business needs into structured, reliable datasets and data models
• Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of data products (from creation through to optimisation)
• Applying and monitoring data quality, validation and governance standards
• Managing metadata, lineage, data contracts and compliance requirements
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand data usage, dependencies and impact
• Ensuring data products meet quality, performance and SLA expectations

• Strong experience in data engineering and pipeline development
• A solid understanding of data modelling, governance and quality frameworks
• Experience working with analytics or AI-ready datasets
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured data solutions
• A proactive, ownership-led mindset with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
