Requirements

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer with a focus on Machine Vision technologies to join our dynamic team to support a large customer in the Automotive space.

You will be part of the pre-sales process and work with sales account managers to sell Fixed Industrial Scanners and Machine Vision systems for assigned partners, end-user account(s) or territory.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and offering solutions tailored to our customers’ unique requirements.   • 2 + years of experience in a related technical role (Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, Field Application Engineer) with specific experience with Machine Vision-related products **please ensure resumes submitted clearly showcase this experience
  • Must reside in the US, specifically near/around Detroit, MI. 50% travel to be expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
  • Sales experience and/or the ability to identify sales opportunities a strong differentiator
  • Uses advanced domain/solutions knowledge to competitive advantage
  • Develops and adapts advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs; creates customer partnerships
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative pre-sales skills through communications and presentation delivery to prospects, customers and partners.
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.
