Job description

What if you could re-invent how millions of customers plan their shopping needs? We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive complex, cross-functional programs across the Amazon Lists portfolio. You will partner with engineering, product, design, and science teams to deliver high-impact customer experiences at scale, managing technical dependencies, timelines, and risks across multiple workstreams.. This is a high-impact role that requires someone with the bias for action, and high customer obsession to ensure we are delivering the right product for customers., Program Execution: Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical programs spanning multiple engineering teams, defining milestones, managing dependencies, and driving accountability

Technical Strategy: Partner with engineering leadership to define technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and migration strategies (e.g., frontend modernization, service decomposition)

Cross-Team Coordination: Align dependencies with partner teams across Amazon to unblock delivery

Risk Management: Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks; escalate when needed with data-driven recommendations

Operational Excellence: Drive improvements to development processes, release mechanisms, and operational health (COE follow-ups, on-call improvements, runbook hygiene)

Mechanisms & Communication: Establish program reviews, status reporting, and stakeholder communication rhythms; author program narratives (OP docs, planning docs, decision documents)

Launch Coordination: Manage end-to-end launches including A/B testing coordination, ramp plans, and go/no-go decisions

About the team Amazon Lists helps hundreds of millions of customers organize and share the things they love - from wish lists and gift registries to idea boards and collections. We’re entering a new chapter, applying state of the art AI to re-imagine how customers curate, discover, and connect through lists.
