Job description

This person will be responsible for deploying and evaluating security technologies within the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC). This role will focus on a wide range of technologies and along with a specific focus on one or more key areas of Information Security. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge and expertise with Networking, Virtualization, and Compute as well as a broad level of security knowledge including endpoint, infrastructure, and cloud security. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and manage relationships with customers and partners, both internally and externally.

  • Design & Build environments and security solutions for customer engagements for the purpose of Sandbox, Proofs of Concepts, and Lab-as-a-Service.

  • Create architectural diagrams, access guides, and other documents as needed for customer engagements and internal documentation.

  • Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and other internal teams to develop test plans, use cases, and high/low level designs.

  • Further develop and foster OEM partnerships and relationships that support WWT’s go-to-market strategy around security solutions.

  • Support business development and marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Science - Cybersecurity

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Science - Information Technology

  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in a related field

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $122,000.00 to $152,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay. The well-being of WWT employees is essential.
