• Develop and maintain backend services using Python
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Deliver new features and enhancements aligned to the product roadmap
• Improve platform stability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Python Developer - Database Scaling Focus

• Lead efforts to optimize and scale MySQL databases as user adoption and data volumes grow
• Identify and resolve underlying performance and scalability challenges
• Implement improvements to database architecture and data management processes
• Contribute to backend application development using Python
• Support roadmap initiatives by developing new features and technical enhancements as the platform evolves

• 4+ years of Python development experience in a Data Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Database Engineering/DBA role
• Strong expertise in one of the following areas:
• PySpark and Spark SQL
• MySQL database optimization and scaling
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level software applications
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong software engineering experience focused on enterprise software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience using Claude Code or other AI-assisted development tools
• Healthcare or analytics platform experience
