This role is for someone who obsesses over visual quality, interaction details and usability. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to design mobile-first experiences that make complex financial products feel simple, trustworthy and enjoyable to use.

What You’ll Own

  • Design polished, user-centric interfaces for mobile and web products.
  • Transform product requirements into wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI.
  • Build intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments and other financial services.
  • Maintain and evolve BJAK’s design system to ensure consistency across products.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Iterate designs using user feedback, analytics and usability testing.
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness and visual consistency across different devices and platforms.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong focus on mobile applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design and UI craftsmanship.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping and modern design workflows.
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles, platform guidelines (iOS & Android) and responsive layouts.
  • Good understanding of UX principles, information architecture and user-centred design.
  • Ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive interfaces.
  • High attention to detail with strong visual hierarchy, typography and spacing.
