Job description
This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship. To be considered for this role, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
Daily Routine:
- Participate in daily standups
- Write and test code
- Submit and review pull requests
- Deploy and monitor code in production
- Collaborate to troubleshoot and fix bugs
Core Responsibilities:
- Contribute and Build: Assist in the implementation, testing, and documentation of core technology components using internal software frameworks.
- Learn and Optimize: Work alongside senior engineers who will provide active mentorship as you identify performance bottlenecks, analyze application metrics, and optimize large-scale data processing routines.
- Collaborate on Solutions: Participate in technical debt cleanup and solution analysis, bringing a fresh perspective to ongoing engineering challenges.
- Embrace the Culture: Operate with integrity, treat colleagues and customers with respect, and contribute to a culture of fairness and inclusion.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Java; other current languages are a plus.
- Understanding of foundational software concepts, including RESTful
- Web Services and Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Golang
- Exposure to agile development practices and version control.
- Bonus Points: Any exposure to cloud services (AWS), container management (Docker), messaging services (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or alternative languages (Clojure, Lua, Erlang) is a plus, but we will teach you what you need to know.

Job Specification:
- Bachelorâs Degree (or Equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of related experience (internships, bootcamps, and academic projects count)., Agile Software Development; Software Development; Java; Go Programming Language, Bachelorâs Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
