Golang Developer

We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong Golang and AWS expertise who is passionate about building scalable cloud-native systems, driving engineering excellence, and helping shape the technical direction of modern platforms used at enterprise scale., * Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions using Golang and AWS cloud services.

• Build and support cloud-native applications and microservices that operate at scale in a production environment.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration.
• Drive technical excellence and best practices around Go development, cloud architecture, and CI/CD automation.
• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with internal Sky teams, Comcast engineering teams in the US, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions.
• Continuously improve system reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.

• 5+ years of overall experience in software development
• Strong experience with Golang development.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Experience with solution architecture and technical design., * Strong commercial experience developing software with Golang (Go) or another modern programming language, with a desire to specialize in Go.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and supporting production-grade applications on AWS.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous integration.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, performant, and well-structured code.
• Experience improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset., Bachelor’s Degree
