Job description

  • Lead and manage all aspects of information technology operations across the organization.
  • Manage cybersecurity programs, risk assessments, disaster recovery, and data protection protocols.
  • Direct IT infrastructure including networks, cloud systems, servers, hardware, telecommunications, and end-user support.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, contracts, licensing, and technology procurement.
  • Supervise IT staff, vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
  • Lead technology training and change management initiatives for staff.
  • Ensure security of entire information systems across organization.
  • Develop all IT policies and seeks approval of those policies.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HRSA, and other healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Maintain the strictest of confidentiality., In compliance with House Bill 531 (2025) Florida, this position may require a background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Minimum requirement of an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two years experience in general information systems leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance, cybersecurity practices, and healthcare IT operations.

Qualifications/Skills:

  1. Experience managing healthcare applications and EHR platforms such as eClinicalWorks preferred

  2. Ability to manage IT infrastructure, networking, cloud environments, and vendor relationships

  3. Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills

  4. Ability to support multi-site clinic operations

  5. Ability to manage technology implementations, upgrades, and system migrations with minimal operational disruption

  6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, * Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds * Occasional travel between clinic locations * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
