Test Automation Engineer

We invite a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team and help evolve a large-scale fintech data platform for private markets. In this role, you’ll drive end-to-end quality assurance for backend services, AI-related platform components supporting data transformation, and complex system integrations through robust test automation across a distributed, integration-heavy platform. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to help deliver reliable, high-quality platform capabilities., * Work on an established fintech platform with 20+ internal services and numerous external integrations, helping bring trust and transparency to private markets

• Deepen your expertise in AI technologies, backend systems, distributed architectures, and integration-heavy environments
• Join a small, highly technical team with real ownership over automation strategy and product quality, In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end quality assurance for backend services, AI-related components, and complex integrations, driving automation to ensure reliable delivery.
• Lead quality assurance across the full software development lifecycle
• Analyze requirements and technical documentation to identify quality risks and define test coverage
• Define and evolve QA strategy, automation approaches, quality gates, and release criteria
• Partner with engineering and product teams to align requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality expectations
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for backend services, REST APIs, AI-related components, and system integrations
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously expand automation coverage
• Investigate defects, analyze failures, and support root cause analysis across distributed systems
• Contribute to technical documentation, quality reporting, and continuous improvement of automation practices, * 30 paid days off per year - take them whenever you want for rest days, holidays, or personal time

• 5+ years in QA/SDET roles with end-to-end ownership of test automation and QA activities
• Strong experience with backend and non-UI-focused test automation
• Experience defining QA strategy, automation approaches, quality gates, and test coverage for complex systems
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience testing REST APIs, backend services, and complex system integrations
• Experience designing automated test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing distributed systems and microservices
• Experience with Docker and containerized test environments
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify quality risks
• Engineering mindset with strong ownership, a high degree of autonomy, and a proactive approach to test automation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional engineering teams
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level, * Experience testing AI/LLM-based applications
• Keen interest in AI technologies and a solid understanding of AI and LLM fundamentals
• Experience with Kubernetes and Azure/AWS
