Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting User Experience Designer opportunities in New York City, NY(Hybrid role) opportunities. Responsibilities for User Experience Designer include but are not limited to:
· Lead end-to-end design initiatives from discovery through delivery, including research synthesis, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and final implementation.
· Create design artifacts such as user journeys, service blueprints, process flows, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
· Utilize established design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, accessibility, and quality across products.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and quality throughout development.
· Champion customer needs throughout the design process by leveraging user research, data insights, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback.
· Apply critical thinking to balance customer experience, business requirements, scalability, accessibility, and technical constraints.
· Advocate for inclusive and accessible design practices that improve experiences for diverse users.
· Understand business objectives, customer strategies, and product roadmaps to influence design decisions.
· Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and collaborative activities with cross-functional partners.
· Navigate competing priorities and negotiate solutions that align customer needs with business goals.
· Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business outcomes through design.
· Apply knowledge of emerging technologies, data platforms, AI capabilities, and technical frameworks to inform design solutions.
· Translate complex, data-heavy workflows into intuitive and efficient user experiences.
· Help teams navigate technical limitations while identifying innovative design approaches.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 4+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or related role.
· 4+ years of experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
· 4+ years of experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
· 4+ years of experience working within established design systems and design standards.
· Experience designing data-intensive, workflow-driven, or complex enterprise applications.
· Experience working within highly regulated environments such as Financial Services, Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, or similar industries.
· Strong portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving approach, outcomes, and measurable impact.
Benefits & conditions
· Pay: $79.81 /hr.
· Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Mon- Fri
· New York City, NY/ McLean, VA (Hybrid role)

Pay Details: $79.81 per hour
