Web Developer

With 1 to 5 years of experience, the selected candidate will join the AH Information Management Directorate to design, develop, maintain and optimise reliable and secure web applications for internal and customer-facing use., As a Web Developer you will deliver high-quality web solutions for Airbus Helicopters users or customers, collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and digital colleagues to ensure technical excellence and alignment with industry-specific requirements., * Implement modern web solutions based on defined architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to guarantee code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, participate in technical refinement, and estimate development efforts.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; actively participate in peer code reviews and highlight technical debt.
• Proactively identify pain points and propose improvements in architecture, tools, security, or workflows.
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and industry standards, integrating them where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production-level solutions, including incident and hot-fix management.
• Support the Tech Lead in evaluating new business requests, building Proof of Concepts, and mitigating risks before full-scale implementation.
• Ensure deliverables are deployment-ready and support the release process for safe and successful deployments., This position is managed transnationally; please submit your documents in English.

• Front-end: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript; strong expertise in Angular (React is a plus).
• Back-end: Strong expertise in Java and Spring / Spring Boot; bonus experience in Python or Node.js (NestJS).
• System & API Integration: Solid understanding of API concepts, micro-services architectures, performance optimisation and web security basics (OWASP, authentication standards).
• Code Quality & Standards: Commitment to best practices, code split, optimisation, automated testing and a Software Craftsmanship mindset; bonus TDD, Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design.
• Databases: Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and database design; bonus NoSQL / MongoDB.
• Git Workflow: High proficiency with Git and adherence to GitFlow or equivalent strategies.
• DevOps & Cloud: Understanding of CI/CD principles and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes); bonus Red Hat OpenShift.
• Enterprise Integration (advantage): Experience with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud, Mirakl Marketplace, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC6, ABAP; middleware such as Mulesoft, TIBCO ESB, or event-driven streaming solutions.
• Agile & Workflow: Deep understanding of Scrum, participation in Agile ceremonies, and mastery of Jira.
• QA & Technical Debt: Proficiency in unit, functional and integration testing; experience in identifying, prioritising and managing technical debt.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, simplification of technical constraints, decision-making, global vision, initiative, tech watch, teamwork and customer orientation.
• Languages: Advanced level in English is mandatory.
