Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced \nSenior DevOps Engineer Lead to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.\n \n In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting development, integration, testing, and deployment of WDP software.\n
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) practices to manage infrastructure and application environments.\n
• Deliver and maintain all software artifacts, including source code, IaC, CaC, binaries, and containers, on Government-owned software repositories.\n
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps processes, documentation, policies, and automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.\n
• Support release and deployment processes across Development, Test, Integration, Staging, and Production environments.\n
• Integrate automated security scanning, compliance validation, and monitoring into DevSecOps pipelines.\n
• Ensure pipeline and infrastructure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, STIGs, and Zero Trust principles.\n
• Monitor pipeline performance, system reliability, and deployment success metrics; implement improvements as needed.\n
• Collaborate with software engineering, systems engineering, data, AI/ML, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated delivery.\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting pipeline performance, system availability, and release execution.\n
• Establish and maintain development, test, integration, staging, and production environments for supporting the System software lifecycle.\n
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing DevOps culture focused on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.\n
• Participate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and Inspect & Adapt events.\n
• Manage a team of 8-15 direct reports, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management.\n
• Provide direct supervision, mentoring, and performance management for DevOps engineering staff.\n
• Conduct performance evaluations, technical coaching, and professional development planning.\n
• Lead workforce planning and staffing alignment across DevOps workstreams.\n
