Job description

Design and develop modern LAN architectures focused on automation, scalability and high availability
Design, implement and optimise fabric-based LAN solutions (Cisco SDA, EVPN-VXLAN, ACI, Catalyst Center, NDFC, APIC)
Plan and execute the renewal of existing network infrastructure and manage the full technology lifecycle
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in Enterprise Networking, SDN and Infrastructure as Code
Produce technical standards, architecture documentation, roadmaps and operational/project documentation
Run Proof of Concepts, own quality assurance of new platforms, and handle complex 3rd-level fault analysis
Act as a technical consultant to internal departments, developing solution concepts and supporting technology integration in collaboration with vendors and service providers

Requirements

Skills/Must Have:

Solid routing and switching knowledge, with enterprise LAN architecture experience at CCNA/CCNP level
Hands-on experience with modern fabric technologies such as Cisco SDA, ACI or EVPN-VXLAN
Knowledge of network automation and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Python, Ansible or Terraform
Practical experience with APIs, Git and CI/CD concepts
Strong analytical skills and genuine enthusiasm for evaluating new technologies and trends
Very good German and English, spoken and written
