Job description

Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve faults within a 2nd-Level Support environment
Take ownership of fault resolution across complex enterprise, carrier, and service provider networks, within agreed SLAs
Work closely with the client, carriers, and field service partners, coordinating resolution activity end-to-end
Support, maintain, and help develop the central monitoring platform (Infosim StableNet)
Run conference calls and remote sessions, managing communication across all stakeholders
Contribute to process optimisation and bring creative solutions to technical challenges
Support XNOC operations via shift work and on-call rotation
Provide on-site presence with the client team, 3 days per week

Requirements

Experience operating and troubleshooting complex enterprise, carrier, or service provider networks; data centre infrastructure experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies: VLAN, Spanning Tree, IP/IPv6, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, and Layer 2/3 VPNs
Juniper certification desirable (e.g. JNCIS-SP or JNCIS-ENT) or comparable
Structured, solutions-focused approach to complex technical problems
Strong teamwork, ownership, communication, and decision-making skills
Fluent German and good English, spoken and written (essential, given the on-site client-facing nature of the role)
