Job description

During your thesis, you enhance and optimize an existing decision support system to significantly boost its impact and intelligence.
Furthermore, you research and implement new features-such as the integration of AI/ML models (e.g., Large Language Models with Retrieval-Augmented Generation)-to propose architectural designs or perform compatibility checks.
In Addition, you deepen the system’s integration into existing development processes by creating automated interfaces to requirements engineering systems, thereby reducing manual effort.
You improve the user experience through advanced visualization techniques and the creation of distinct user roles and views, making complex data more accessible.
Moreover, you conduct studies to evaluate the system’s long-term impact on key metrics such as time-to-market and development costs.
Lastly, you collaborate closely with product and system architects, project managers, and subject matter experts to ensure the practical relevance and applicability of your work.

Requirements

Education: master studies in the field of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or comparable with good grades
Experience and Knowledge: experience in software development; data modeling; system architecture
Personality and Working Practice: you are able to work independently and proactively on complex issues, always maintaining a structured approach and successfully contributing to our team
Work Routine: office attendance required
Languages: good in German and very good in English, You are almost finished with your Bachelor’s degree and would like to gain some practical experience before embarking on your next academic adventure with a Master’s degree?
