Requirements

  • 5+ years in program/project delivery or Agile delivery leadership, with at least 2+ years as a Release Train Engineer or in an equivalent ART-facilitation role in a SAFe environment.
  • SAFe RTE certification (or SAFe SPC/Agilist) and demonstrated, hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning and the full set of ART events.
  • Project Management (PMI) certified desirable
  • Proven ability to manage cross-team dependencies, program risk, and impediments across multiple Agile teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of maintaining accurate, timely two-way reporting between delivery teams and a central program/governance function (e.g., a LACE or PMO).
  • Experience with Agile program management tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira/Jira Align, or equivalent) for tracking flow, metrics, and reporting.
  • Servant-leadership and coaching ability, with experience explaining and embedding Lean-Agile practices across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Extremely strong communication skills, with a proven record of delivering high-impact presentations at the executive level.
  • Role model in organizing project management and operational activities, with a demonstrated ability to create best-practice frameworks that improve efficiency.

Desirable:

  • Experience operating within or alongside a Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) at enterprise scale.
  • Background in IT program management and portfolio-level reporting.
  • Familiarity with the World Bank Group / international organization delivery environment or comparable large, distributed enterprises.
  • Experience supporting Agile budgeting, capacity planning, and resource management., * Proven SAFe knowledge: SAFe RTE certification (or SAFe SPC/Agilist) with demonstrated, hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning and the full set of ART events.
  • Strong project management practices: a track record of standardizing project management practices, creating reusable project plan templates, and establishing best-practice frameworks that improve operational efficiency across teams.
  • Extremely good communicator: outstanding communication skills with a proven record of delivering high-impact presentations at the executive level.
