Associate’s degree (A, A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in Computer Programming, Information Systems, or a related field; and three years’ experience in PC network support, three years’ experience in programming in a procedural language; some experience with heterogeneous Ethernets that include minicomputers and PC’s, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. (CIS and municipal government computer application experience preferred.)

Examinations may include written, oral, physical, or performance tests or any combination of the various types of examinations.
