Software Engineering Manager & Solution Architect

As Senior Engineering Manager & Solution Architect, you provide strategic technical direction and people leadership for the navify PoC program. You bridge business strategy with technical delivery across cloud-to-edge middleware at scale, impacting healthcare operations worldwide. You lead a cross-disciplinary team, drive architecture that aligns with enterprise goals, and ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. This role blends technical oversight with people development in a high-impact, hybrid setting., * Serve as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders and partners, aligning architecture with enterprise design across multiple programs

• Steer architecture creation in line with roadmaps, platform strategies, governance, and standards
• Influence without formal authority to coordinate cross-program dependencies and roadmaps
• Master AI-accelerated SDLCs and embed native AI in cloud and edge products with healthcare regulatory awareness
• Translate complex technical decisions into business value for non-technical audiences
• Remove blockers at team/org interfaces and prioritize tasks per architectural roadmap
• Define and evolve a modular, high-availability AWS architecture and adopt elastic scaling
• Standardize DotNet-based edge solutions and manage interfaces with instrument fleets (Accu-Chek Pulse, Inform II, Liat) for resilience
• Design robust event-driven topologies, data synchronization, and reliable delivery under intermittent connectivity
• Set and monitor Non-Functional Requirements with security-by-design, data integrity, and latency SLAs
• Advise on technology trends for projects and external engagements
• Ensure systems comply with security, privacy, accessibility, and governance policies
• Foster a high-performing culture through hiring, morale, and regulatory-aligned delivery
• Oversee technical and personnel leadership, training, and performance management

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• +8 years of experience in related roles
• 5 years as Solution/Cloud Architect with cloud and edge experience
• Healthcare & Interoperability exposure (FHIR, HL7, EMR)
• 5 years of people management and team leadership experience
• Experience in AI tools, End-to-End AI development, and regulatory constraints in healthcare
• Advanced communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across complex environments
• Fluency in English
