Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Banner (ERP) Admin - Remote., We are seeking a Remote Banner Administrator II to support and maintain a complex ERP and Student Information Systems environment. This role will be responsible for Banner administration, application support, systems automation, Linux administration, database operations, security management, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms, developing automation solutions, and partnering with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure system reliability and performance., * Administer and support Banner ERP and Student Information Systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and data integrity issues
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and scheduled processes
  • Manage Linux server administration and ongoing system maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain ERP security, user access, and compliance requirements
  • Support disaster recovery testing and documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business users to support enterprise systems
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Banner ERP administration or support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting application, database, and system issues
  • Strong Linux administration experience
  • Experience with Shell scripting and/or Python
  • Experience supporting ERP security, user provisioning, and access controls
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Knowledge of job scheduling and automation platforms
  • SQL and PL/SQL development skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Ellucian Banner experience
  • Higher education technology environment experience
  • Oracle Database experience
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) exposure
  • UC4/Automic job scheduling experience
  • Argos reporting experience
  • Banner Document Management (BDM) experience
  • Experience supporting ERP integrations and upgrades

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
