Requirements

Data Center Operations Technician - Amazon.com, Zaragoza, AR, ES Position Overview A full-time, on-site position focused on supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure and hardware for AWS data centers. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, fiber, networking, and related issues, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and operational reliability. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and repair hardware and network problems, including physical repairs. - Respond to events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and conduct root-cause analysis of equipment failures. - Assist with manual handling and lifting of equipment as required by regulations. - Work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) and weekends to maintain a 24/7 data center environment. - Participate in on-call rotation for off-duty emergency response. - Promote and uphold a world-class safety culture, owning safety initiatives and projects. Basic Qualifications - High school or equivalent diploma. - Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair. - Experience in networking. Preferred Qualifications - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution. - Ability to operate efficiently under pressure.
