Data Ops Engineer

We are looking for a Data Operations Engineer to manage the operations, reliability, governance, and continuous improvement of a cloud-based Data Platform. The role involves supporting production environments, ensuring platform stability, managing deployments, and collaborating with engineering, IT Operations, and business teams., * Manage day-to-day Data Platform operations and production support.

• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Govern Production deployments, release management, and change controls.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and SDLC processes.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, operational documentation, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, compliance, and operational excellence.

• Strong experience in Data Platform Operations and Production Support.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, DBT, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, release management, and SDLC.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data workflows, monitoring, and incident management.
• Understanding of Data Architecture and Data Modeling.

• Experience with Agile delivery and production release governance.
