Technical Services Specialist II

We have an opportunity for a Technical Services Specialist II to support our Transfusion Division based out of Abbott Park, IL.

This role provides specialized technical support for medical diagnostic product development and production, handling complex, non-routine tasks involving equipment and procedures. It requires strong problem-solving through data analysis and research, with work directly impacting operations, cost, and overall efficiency.

What You’ll Work On

• Maintain quality system effectiveness and regulatory compliance
• Provide advanced technical support across multiple disciplines
• Execute complex, non-routine tasks with judgment and creativity
• Drive process improvements using data and analysis
• Interpret/create technical documentation, drawings, and test procedures
• Support engineering with prototypes, testing, and troubleshooting, Awkward/forceful/repetitive (arms above shoulder, bent wrists), Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day), Keyboard use (greater or equal to 50% of the workday), Lift, carry, push or pull weights of more than 20 pounds/9 kilos on a regular/daily basis, Work with infectious organisms or known infectious materials

• High school diploma

• 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
