Software Engineer, RIS

This position is intended to be a member of the engineering team, developing software for medical information products., * Design and implement product features from internal and external customer requirements and clinical feedback.

• Apply standard technologies to software design, implementation, and testing.
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate assignments and communicate progress and/or difficulties.
• Investigate and resolve complex runtime software issues received from varying sources in a timely manner.
• Understand requirements both from user’s perspective and technical details.
• Manage personal project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Developing new and maintaining existing code and design.
• Providing input, solutions, and recommendations.
• Participate in design and code reviews and understand and enforce the importance of coding standards.
• Troubleshooting complex problems.
• Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards., In the event that COVID-19 vaccine mandates issued by the federal government, or by state or local government become effective and enforceable, the Company will require that the successful candidate hired for positions covered under relevant government vaccine mandate(s) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, absent being granted an accommodation due to medical or sincerely held religious belief or other legally required exemption. • BS degree or higher in a scientific, engineering, or clinical field, not required.
• 5+ years of proven corporate/technical lead training experience.
• Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
• Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching.
• Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint); e-learning software is an asset.
• Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Critical thinking and decision making.
• Certified training certificate is a plus.
