Job description

Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This position focuses on systems analysis, querying various data systems, and ensuring seamless data flow across platforms. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting legal and operational teams within the US Department of Justice (USDOJ), running complex queries, creating interactive dashboards, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT systems, data analytics, and experience working with large databases. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role., * Collaborate with management, senior data analysts, and legal teams to gather system requirements, analyze data flows, and identify potential optimizations.

  • Support the migration of different file and media types between legacy and modern systems.
  • Create detailed reports and interactive dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to assist USDOJ teams in decision-making.
  • Perform advanced analytics and automation using SQL and Python.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance to support the operational needs of the organization.
  • Work closely under the supervision of a senior data analyst with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and operational teams, to ensure systems meet business and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data, Statistics, or IT related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience performing data analysis
  • At least one (1) year hands-on experience working with Tableau, PowerBI, Oracle, Python.
  • Experience processing both standard data types and special data formats that may be proprietary, mobile devices, social media, forensic images, audio/video, etc
  • Have advanced understanding of SQL
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Oracle Database
  • Understanding of legal terminology and processes
  • Experience with US Government contracts
