Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML Software Engineer with a strong background in Java or Python and hands-on experience building production-grade AI/ML applications. This is a 100% hands-on engineering role where you’ll be developing next-generation AI-powered solutions within the Chase Travel platform, creating applications that serve both internal users and customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI/ML applications using Java or Python.
  • Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using modern vector databases and embedding models.
  • Develop conversational AI solutions, including chatbots and voice-enabled applications.
  • Integrate AI models using AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude APIs.
  • Design scalable APIs and microservices for AI-powered applications.
  • Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and ECS/EKS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable AI solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience using Java or Python.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI/ML applications in production.
  • Strong experience with RAG architectures, embedding models, and vector databases such as Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector, or FAISS.
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, and model invocation APIs.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills and experience with LLM-based applications.
  • Experience building conversational AI (chatbots/voicebots).
  • Strong AWS experience including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, and SQS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, ECS/EKS, Infrastructure as Code, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Experience implementing responsible AI practices, guardrails, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
