Financial Services Organization- Tax - Engineering Manager - Hands-On-Agentic SDLC - EDGE

This is a hands-on engineering management role for an experienced tech lead who wants to step up without leaving the keyboard. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead 1-3 teams of 3-6 full-stack engineers, serving as both their senior technical authority and people leader. You will contribute code, define technical strategy, and recruit, develop, and mentor engineers to help them grow and succeed. Agentic Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) has reshaped how engineering work gets done. With tasks becoming smaller, more clearly defined, and easier to distribute, an engineering manager’s greatest impact comes from delivering hands-on solutions and orchestrating AI agents alongside the team, rather than coordinating handoffs. The ideal candidate is a strong technical practitioner who wants to amplify their impact, remains actively engaged in building, and is excited to leverage agents as part of the development process-not someone looking to step away from hands-on engineering.

As part of our Financial Services Organization (FSO), you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative solutions for our client-serving Tax professionals. FSO professionals will partner with our Tax professionals to develop supporting technology such as digital tools to improve internal operations, development of advanced financial dashboards, visualization, analytics, and reports.
