Job description

  • Infrastructure Assessment & Research: Audit legacy Fortinet configurations; identify critical functionalities; research existing hardware/software dependencies; and troubleshoot unknown Wi-Fi hardware.
  • Deployment: Replicate firewall and switching functionality within a new Ubiquiti environment; configure and deploy new switching hardware (12 or 14-port units); and reconfigure physical network layouts.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Provide specialized Wi-Fi troubleshooting; manage the decommissioned equipment lifecycle; and collaborate with local Office Managers for site access and onboarding.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of advanced expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate) and Ubiquiti platforms.
  • 1+ years of proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and configuration.
  • Proven ability to map and translate firewall rules between different vendors.
  • Expert-level Wi-Fi diagnostic skills and strong analytical skills for complex legacy systems.
