Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator to support a complex enterprise SAP environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of critical SAP systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level professional who enjoys working across infrastructure, database, security, and application teams to maintain a stable and high-performing SAP landscape., * Administer and support enterprise SAP environments.

Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, system copies, refreshes, migrations, and ongoing maintenance.
Monitor system performance, health, availability, and capacity.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP BASIS issues.
Support SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BusinessObjects, Process Orchestration, Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SuccessFactors, and related technologies.
Perform operating system, database, and SAP platform maintenance.
Coordinate software patching and validate changes prior to production deployment.
Configure, monitor, and maintain batch jobs and scheduled processes.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, administration procedures, and system inventories.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery activities.
Work closely with infrastructure, networking, database, security, and application development teams.
Recommend system improvements and automation opportunities.
Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed.

Requirements

Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible SAP BASIS administration experience.
Strong experience installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, and supporting enterprise SAP environments.
Extensive knowledge of SAP architecture and BASIS administration.
Hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC6, S/4HANA, BW/BI, CRM, BusinessObjects (BOBJ), Process Orchestration (PO), Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP HANA, C/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Fiori/Gateway, and SAP Web Dispatcher.
Experience supporting AIX, UNIX, Linux, Windows, DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Five or more years supporting SAP ABAP and Java environments.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and project documentation.
Experience performing SAP system refreshes using native SAP tools, LAMA, or SAP PCA.
Experience administering NetWeaver Java solutions.
Experience with SAP Change and Transport System (CTS+).
Experience supporting DB2/AIX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
