IT ADMINISTRATOR

Maintains and improves the performance of Northlake Steel’s computer network. Offers support and training to users. Uses innovation to foresee where changes can be made to improve company operations. Responsible for care of the company phone system, security system, printers, and fax., * Monitors and maintains system performance and security, including firewalls, malware protection and other processes

• Troubleshoots server issues
• Maintains and updates all hardware and software licensing
• Trains all users on best practices for security
• Maintains ERP system
• Works with outside suppliers to maintain copiers, phone, CCTV and security systems
• Maintains company website
• Implements disaster recovery and database backup procedures
• Provides helpdesk support for network users
• Integrates IT into the machine shop through areas such as tablet use, labor collection, and bar coding
• Works with users to create Crystal reports/SAP for use in job functions
• Recommends upgrades and new technology where applicable.

• 2 or more year’s professional experience in IT is required.
• Experience with Windows server environments and Microsoft Dynamics 360 preferred.
• Computer Science degree, network admin or Microsoft certifications preferred., * IT admin: 2 years (Required)
