Job description

SPA has a need for a Technical Web & Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain SharePoint sites, web interfaces, and application features supporting AF/A10 missions, the Foreign Clearance Program, and APACS. This role blends front-end design, application development, and quality assurance to improve usability, reliability, and overall user experience., * Design and maintain SharePoint sites, internal web pages, and simple workflows; create clear layouts, navigation, and content structures.

  • Develop and enhance application features, refactor code, fix defects, and participate in requirements refinement, design discussions, and code reviews.
  • Implement automated and manual tests, execute test plans, identify edge cases, and support defect triage and regression testing.
  • Apply usability, branding, accessibility, and secure coding standards across web and software products.
  • Collaborate with analysts, users, and leadership to translate requirements into functional, maintainable interfaces and applications.
  • Contribute to documentation, testing improvements, and troubleshooting across development and production environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following: SharePoint/web design, software/application development, or software testing/QA.
  • Skills in HTML/CSS and familiarity with modern programming languages or frameworks (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET).
  • Understanding of usability principles, accessibility, secure coding practices, and structured development lifecycles.
  • Experience with relational databases, RESTful services, or automated testing frameworks.
  • Active Secret clearance or eligibility, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.

  • Experience supporting government or corporate intranets or mission-critical applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and performance or security testing.
  • Knowledge of web-based workflows, form design, and production support environments.
