Software Engineer

Seeking a Software Engineer with strong Embedded C experience and experience working in DO-178 DAL A/B regulated environments. This individual will play a key role in implementing actuator controller software, developing low- and high-level software requirements, and maintaining full bidirectional traceability between requirements and code.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Implementing actuator controller software specifications
• Writing DO-178 DAL B low- and high-level software requirements
• Establishing and maintaining requirements-to-code traceability
• Supporting verification and validation activities
• Collaborating with firmware, hardware, and systems engineering teams on aerospace controls products

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience
• Strong proficiency with Embedded C
• Hands-on MCU/Microcontroller development experience
• Experience with DO-178 DAL A and/or DAL B documentation and design processes
• Verification & Validation (V&V) testing experience
• Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Ability to support future U.S. Government programs and obtain security clearance if required

This is a Contract position based out of Whippany, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $100.00/hr.
