Job description

Experteer Overview You will develop software for embedded microcontrollers across diverse devices used in surface heaters and temperature controllers. In a fast-paced R&D setting, you’ll contribute from concept to production, shaping software architecture, UI, and validation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll support legacy products and work with third-party developers to integrate hardware and software. This role offers meaningful impact through robust embedded systems and compliance-driven development. You’ll work closely with manufacturing and design teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Develop software for embedded microcontrollers across various devices and platforms * Review and update code written by others to ensure quality and maintainability * Test and validate embedded software and systems for reliability and compliance * Interpret electrical schematics to support design and troubleshooting * Select and evaluate electrical components meeting performance criteria * Create detailed technical documentation for development, manufacturing, and end users * Collaborate on design requirements and specifications for new and existing products * Ensure compliance and testing requirements for embedded systems and electronics * Coordinate with third-party developers and vendors on software/hardware integration * Support manufacturing process controls to ensure product quality * Contribute to UI design, software architecture decisions, and backend development for new products * Maintain and enhance legacy products through bug fixes and feature improvements * Participate in multiple concurrent projects with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers Tasks * Strong experience with embedded microcontroller software (Embedded C) * C# proficiency with 3+ years of related experience * Experience with embedded Linux environments and tools * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics * Familiarity with PCB design and KiCad * Experience selecting electrical components for embedded use * Proficient with Git and version control * Ability to write clear technical documentation for engineering and manufacturing teams * Experience testing and validating embedded software for reliability and performance * Ability to collaborate with third-party developers and vendors * Understanding of compliance and validation requirements for embedded/electrical products * Associate or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Life Insurance * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Paid Time Off (PTO)
