Senior Principal Mission Engineer OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking applicants for Senior Principal Mission Engineer to support our customer in Colorado Springs CO and El Segundo, CA Summary Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated professionals who assist the Space Development Agency in developing and deploying the next generation of satellites and ground systems for missile warning (MW), missile tracking (MT) and missile defense (MD). Our Tranche 3 Program Integration team has a need for a tracking Mission Engineer with experience analyzing space and ground system architectures through mission thread development and simulation. We are looking for innovative, creative, and highly motivated individuals to mature models and build scenarios (GRMs and DRMs) that effectively capture system of systems effects in complex operational environments. Candidate will provide systems engineering and integration expertise in support of the SDA T3 Tracking mission capabilities. Candidate will assess integrated component program designs (Space Vehicles and Ground Systems) and develop verification and validation approaches against the Enterprise Requirements Document (ERD). Major duties of the position include: Developing Requirements Verification Trace Matrix (RVTM) for the Enterprise Requirements Document (ERD). Plan data aggregation from component programs, SDA and T3PI analysis to show compliance with the ERD. Reviewing government scenarios from PWSA enterprise and prior tranches to ensure that T3 scenarios are consistent. Developing and briefing data packages that provide analysis results to inform the government decision-makers. Requirements

Required Experience, Skills and Attributes: Master’s Degree in Math, Science or Engineering with 15+ Years of demonstrated system engineering and integration experience with space, ground, operations and sustainment segments of DoD or NRO programs with a proven delivery record or a bachelor’s degree in Math, Science or Engineering with 17+ Years of demonstrated experience. Experience working across space and ground segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements that ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met. Strong understanding of modeling, simulation, and mission analysis techniques and tools. Experienced at self-starting, seeking solutions, and working well in a team environment Demonstrated experience working with SDA/DoD/NRO customers in an acquisition environment, with space and/or ground systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills Experience working Space Mission V&V at Mission level Desired Requirements Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR), other missile defense or related space-based ISR experience.
