Solution Architect

• Assess existing application and infrastructure landscapes to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for modernization.

• Create end-to-end solution designs that align with organizational priorities, architectural standards, and operational requirements.

• Work closely with business partners, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to convert functional needs into clear technical approaches.

• Lead architecture planning for core manufacturing and enterprise systems, ensuring effective connectivity across critical platforms.

• Define integration approaches spanning cloud, on-premises, and edge technologies to support data flow and process continuity.

• Review proposed solutions for scalability, security, compliance, and performance to ensure they meet enterprise expectations.

• Produce and maintain architecture artifacts such as system diagrams, interface definitions, and data flow documentation.

• Advise project teams during implementation by resolving design questions and validating that delivered solutions reflect approved architecture.

• Participate in governance reviews and contribute reusable standards, patterns, and best practices for future initiatives. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related discipline; advanced education is preferred.

• At least 7 years of experience in solution architecture or a closely related role, with emphasis on manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Strong command of architecture methods, design patterns, and enterprise solution planning.

• Experience with ERP and related business systems such as SAP or Oracle within complex operational settings.

• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise integration approaches including APIs and microservices.

• Familiarity with data modeling, analytics platforms, and master data management concepts.

• Ability to identify and address risks involving system performance, security, scalability, and compliance.

• Effective communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills, along with exposure to Agile and DevOps practices. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
