Data Migration Specialist

Extract and export data from PMS systems across multiple hotel properties

Rationalize and map data fields hotel-by-hotel for migration into new systems

Coordinate with internal hotel teams to gather and validate source data

Work closely with vendors responsible for executing technical data imports

Support multi-stage data migration efforts with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

Ensure reservation data aligns across systems (line-by-line reconciliation)

Push validated data into Opera via SynXis integration environment

Maintain and manage large Excel datasets for pilot and production migrations

Identify data inconsistencies and troubleshoot mapping or integration issues

Assist in refining data mapping structures and evaluating migration tools

Strong experience with data migration, data mapping, and data validation

Experience extracting/exporting data from PMS (Property Management Systems)

High level of attention to detail-must ensure reservation counts match line-by-line across systems

Experience working with large datasets in Excel (advanced proficiency required)

Understanding of database structures and data dictionaries

Experience working with reporting teams or data-focused initiatives

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Strong collaboration skills with internal business and technical teams

Understanding of hotel operations and how PMS/CRS systems are used Experience with SynXis (central reservation system)

Familiarity with Opera PMS and integrations

Exposure to SynXis environments and integration workflows

Experience with INSIST or Avalon systems

Background in hospitality systems or hotel data environments

Experience evaluating or implementing data mapping tools
