Job description

Lead, mentor, hire, and grow a high-performing UI engineering team
Drive technical architecture, engineering strategy, and product direction
Participate in code reviews and contribute hands-on to the codebase when needed
Partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, customer-facing applications
Collaborate with backend teams to build modern web applications and API-driven experiences
Lead technical design discussions and establish engineering best practices
Improve engineering processes, team workflows, and development standards
Own projects from architecture through delivery in a distributed engineering environment
Communicate effectively across engineering, product, and leadership teams

Requirements

10+ years of experience developing modern web applications
5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience
Strong hands-on experience with Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks
Experience building scalable web applications and leading technical design discussions
Experience with Node.js and Express (NestJS is a plus)
Strong understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture
Knowledge of secure web development best practices
Cloud technologies experience (cloud security is a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required (Master’s preferred)
