AI Platform Engineer

• Build internal platforms and AI loops that increase company iteration speed
• Strengthen security, compliance, and operational readiness
• Improve CI/CD, testing, deployments, and developer environments
• Evaluate and implement new tooling, storage, and compute systems
• Enable non-technical staff to build and ship improvements safely
• Enable technical teams to ship scalable, enterprise-ready systems faster
• Resolve incidents and production fires with both immediate fixes and long-term solutions

• 5+ years of experience; preference for ex-founders or founding engineers.
• Technical skills in Kubernetes, CI/CD, TypeScript, and Python are essential.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Self-sufficient, smart, and focused on customer happiness.
• Founders or those with strong product sense and a history of building and shipping products., * TypeScript and Python are primary languages; experience with web stack and Chrome extensions beneficial.
• Focus on enabling AI tools and infrastructure for rapid development.

Seniority

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering.

• Has shipped and maintained production platform infrastructure in a B2B SaaS environment -CI/CD, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud deployments, database migrations; has made painful mistakes and learned from them

Startup experience post-Series A; ideally Work experience

• has seen a company grow from Series A-B

Nice to have:

Previous experience as a founder or founding engineer is a great signal

Experience at a Martech or data/analytics tooling background (e.g., Ramp, PostHog, Rippling, Amplitude, Segment) - they understand horizontal B2B products and have seen comparable platform problems

Degree from a top-tier university (e.g., Stanford). But needs degree.

Hard skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud infra familiarity (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and with deployment, reliability, rollbacks, and monitoring

• AI-first engineering mindset - can set up dev tooling (Devin, Claude Code, remote environments) so every engineer can ship with AI assistance
