Network Engineer

Sacramento Network Solutions (SNS) is a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) serving businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations throughout Northern California. We provide professional IT support, cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, servers, wireless infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and technology consulting to a diverse client base.

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Network Administrator who enjoys solving problems, working directly with clients, and being part of a team that delivers exceptional service.

This is not a desk-only position. You’ll split your time between our Sacramento office and client locations throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support to business and education clients
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and servers
• Deploy and support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, and cloud services
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, and firewalls
• Install and support printers, mobile devices, and business applications
• Perform proactive maintenance, monitoring, upgrades, and patch management
• Document work performed and maintain accurate client records
• Participate in project deployments, equipment installations, and office relocations
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Sacramento Network Solutions professionally

• 3+ years of IT support or MSP experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VPNs, and networking fundamentals
• Experience supporting wireless networks, firewalls, and business infrastructure
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work under desks, in network closets, and on ladders when necessary
