Job description

Our client seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver robust solutions for the wealth management domain. The role focuses on scalable backend microservices and modern web applications, while leveraging GenAI to enhance developer productivity, automate workflows, and improve user experiences. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to continuous improvement., * Deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions in an agile environment.

  • Build and enhance scalable backend microservices and modern web applications.
  • Leverage GenAI technologies to improve developer workflows, automation, and user experiences.
  • Contribute to and advocate for test automation and quality practices.
  • Collaborate with product, execution, and support teams to resolve or escalate user inquiries.
  • Provide timely status updates, issue resolutions, and usability guidance.
  • Perform application maintenance and uphold information security controls.
  • Analyze support queue trends and recommend innovation and automation to reduce volume.
  • Partner with distributed teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance., * 6+ years building enterprise solutions across multiple platforms and data technologies.

  • Backend development expertise with Java and/or Python using an API-first approach.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Kafka.
  • Front-end experience with Angular (v21 preferred), HTML/CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and web components.
  • Understanding of APIs, UI development, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven Agile and DevOps experience, including CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including deployment and architecture best practices.
  • Experience with microservices architectures and microfrontend applications.
  • Proven use of GenAI technologies such as LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Relational database expertise with PostgreSQL and SQL/Oracle.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred mix of 50/50 front-end and back-end or strong Angular with moderate back-end skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
