Job description

As a mechanical engineer for Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems, you’ll be a member a cross functional team responsible for the development and advancement of various complex systems and mechanical deisgns

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience., Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Deep technical expertise in finite element analysis (FEA), environmental qualification testing, and dynamic structural assessment

  • Experience with MIL-STD-810 and defense environmental qualification requirements
  • Strong background in modal analysis, frequency response, transient response, and random vibration analysis

  • Experience developing and reviewing engineering analysis reports and technical documentation
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
  • Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects with successful outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience writing technical papers and proposals

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $172,388.00 - USD $181,815.00 /Yr.
