GIS Operations & Project Leadership

• Oversee GIS technical operations and ensure adherence to industry best practices for geospatial data management, analysis, and visualization.
• Lead and execute complex GIS projects from data acquisition and processing through analysis, visualization, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain GIS workflows, standards, and procedures to support organizational objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance GIS processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure alignment of GIS technical activities with business and GIS strategic goals.

Data Management & Quality Assurance

• Process, prepare, transform, and load GIS data from multiple source formats into enterprise GIS systems.
• Perform QA/QC reviews on versioned GIS datasets prior to promotion into production environments.
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across GIS databases and applications.
• Create specialized maps, reports, and data extracts to meet customer requirements and business specifications.

Application Support & Technical Analysis

• Perform GIS application testing and document defects, issues, and enhancement opportunities.
• Support GIS application deployments and upgrades.
• Develop and execute specialized spatial and attribute queries.
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and document requested system changes.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for GIS applications and workflows.

Stakeholder Engagement & Mentorship

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to understand GIS technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior GIS technicians and analysts by sharing technical expertise and best practices.

We are seeking an experienced GIS professional to lead technical GIS operations, support enterprise geospatial initiatives, and drive high-quality data management and visualization practices. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in Esri GIS technologies, linear referencing systems, utility and pipeline data models, and GIS data lifecycle management. This role requires leadership capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and a strong commitment to continuous process improvement., * 5+ years of hands-on GIS experience involving geospatial databases, GIS applications, data management, and mapping solutions.

• Strong understanding of GIS principles, spatial analysis, data modeling, and cartographic visualization.
• Experience supporting enterprise GIS environments and production GIS workflows.
• Experience with QA/QC procedures and GIS data governance practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills., * Experience with Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) and related concepts.
• Knowledge of Utility and Pipeline Data Model (UPDM).
• Experience working within utility, energy, pipeline, transportation, or infrastructure industries.
