Senior Java Software Engineer - INTL India

Insight Global is looking for Software Engineers to join the Investing Tech Services team supporting a large financial client headquartered in Bangalore India. This role requires working onsite 5 days a week and offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact portfolio of investment and real estate applications. You’ll be responsible for supporting end to end development and testing in production environments. Primarily supporting the teams on prem Expense Management Application. The application handles all trade bookings happening within the firm. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with backend development utilizing Java and Springboot. In this role, you will be working primarily on feature enhancements, uplift and support of all use cases coming from the business. The tech stack includes, Java version upgrades, React UI refreshes, and cloud migration efforts. You’ll also collaborate with infrastructure teams on AWS and Kubernetes deployments, and work hands-on with proprietary tools and MongoDB-based systems.

Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in software engineering -Strong proficiency in Java and Springboot -Experience supporting production environments and regulatory enhancements -Kubernetes experience (80% of applications are on-prem) -Solid database knowledge, including MongoDB, Postgres DB and relational databases -Experience working with microservices

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Exposure to cloud migration strategies and tooling (e.g., HashiCorp) -Python -React and TypeScript experience -AWS cloud experience (approx. 30% of applications are cloud-based)
