Managed Service Network Engineer

Do you have experience in Network security appliance implementation?, KCI is seeking an Managed Service Network Engineer to become an integral part of our Managed Services Design and Installation team. In this role the Network Engineer will interface with field techs and end-clients to install managed Cisco Meraki equipment including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, etc. Candidate will need to have a strong data and networking background, experience with firewalls or routers is a requirement. Basic knowledge of port forward rules, 1:1 NAT, and other essential security features of a firewall. Experience with Cisco Meraki or other firewalls is required.

Essential Function

· Enterprise Telecom experience

· Analyze customer data network design requirements

· Follows customer engineering process guidelines for network engineering, document storage, and communications

· Knowledge of how a network works

· Communicate clearly and precisely with field personnel, customers, and project managers

· CCNA preferred or equivalent experience - Meraki certification is a huge plus

· On the job training will be provided to fill in the blanks
