Job description

The Knowledge Management/SharePoint (SP) Support is a key position at the National Simulation Center in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations., * Review, analyze, and evaluate business processes, business systems and user needs.

  • Support the Knowledge Management (KM) Strategy and KM SOP development.
  • Provide KM training as required.
  • Assist with development of new KM processes site collection development, maintenance, updates, migrations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum and Preferred Requirements/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience and expertise with MOSS or WSS. Experience and expertise with MS suite of tools (Office 365) such as TEAMS, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Access.
  • Experience and expertise in SP13, SP16 and SP Online with emphasis on SP Online, additionally, SP PowerApps, SP Flow, and all SP “out of the box” developer applications.
  • Practical experience and expertise in SP development. Experience and expertise using JSON, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SML, IQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
  • Other beneficial computer coding languages such as R, and Python are desirable for custom code writing to support the development and maintenance of SP capabilities and compatibility between organization’s SP, MS Apps, MS TEAMS, MS Calendars, and other common KM capabilities.
