Job description

Under the general direction, analyses, designs, programs, tests and implements computer systems and programs. Maintains existing systems and collaborates with user departments to determine needs. Provides all levels of documentation and trains users in the operation of their systems., * Assists in the development and installation of in-house developed software.

  • Assists in the installation of commercially developed software and its integration into other RGH systems.
  • Assists in the evaluation of hardware and software products for possible purchase or lease by the hospital.
  • Assists in the maintenance of all application software that is the responsibility of the Information Services Department.
  • Maintains an appropriate level of computer expertise.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year of previous experience with programming experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • NA, L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.
