Professional Services Consultant - Application Security Make an Impact Securing Modern Applications Join a collaborative Professional Services team where you’ll help customers successfully deploy and optimize enterprise application security and performance solutions. In this customer-facing consulting role, you’ll lead technical implementations, guide organizations through complex migrations, and deliver best practices across web application security, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a post-sales consulting position with approximately 30% travel. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with occasional weekend support for planned customer maintenance activities., * Lead the implementation and delivery of application security and performance solutions for enterprise customers.

• Gather business and technical requirements to design scalable, secure deployment architectures.
• Create solution documentation, including high- and low-level designs, deployment plans, migration plans, test plans, and implementation documentation.
• Configure and deploy security solutions while following customer change management processes.
• Advise customers on best practices for web application security, networking, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex implementation issues and collaborate with engineering, support, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Develop automation, templates, scripts, and operational documentation to improve delivery efficiency.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to internal documentation and best practices., * Partner directly with enterprise customers on high-impact implementations.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers in a highly technical environment.
• Gain exposure to modern cloud security, automation, and infrastructure best practices.

• 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical consulting, implementation, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or security engineering role.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and the OSI model.
• Experience implementing application security technologies such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DDoS protection, API security, bot management, SSL/TLS, certificate management, or rate limiting.
• Experience with internet infrastructure technologies including CDN, DNS, web performance optimization, analytics, and logging.
• Proficiency with at least one scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong project management, organization, and customer communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities., * Experience designing and implementing enterprise application security architectures.
• Familiarity with caching technologies, HTTP/2, TLS 1.3, latency optimization, and web performance tuning.
• Experience supporting complex customer migrations and post-sales consulting engagements.
• Ability to create technical documentation, implementation procedures, and automation assets.
